Abstract

In the present time everybody thinks that writing is like falling of a log. According to them it is just about the playing of words. But being an author isn’t for everyone, though. They have to face various challenges like: Societal Pressure, Community Guidelines, Copyright, plagiarism, writer’s block, readers’ response and most importantly the dangerous tool of humanity that is Artificial Intelligence. Through a piece of writing, an author introduces us to a variety of topics, including ideals and creativity. This paper Ink and Obstacles: Navigating Author Challenges represents the historical and contemporary writing challenges an author faces throughout his thought process and ideas.

This paper represents the historical and contemporary writing challenges an author faces throughout his thought process and ideas. The paper will highlight a writer’s predicament. Readers will get to know that writers are unable to write in a restricted manner, and their brilliance needs freedom.

About the Author

Ms. Jessica Sehgal is an Assistant Professor of English at Arya Girls College, Ambala Cantt, Haryana. She is a gold medalist in Master of Arts (English) from Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala  Cantt. Also, she has been awarded the Second Best English Orator of Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt.   She is also a Freelance Content writer under various niches. She is passionate about writing poetry and has received many certificates of appreciation for her self-composed poetry.
