International Seminar on Women’s Day 2025
The International Council for Education, Research, and Training (ICERT) hosted an International Seminar on March 8, 2025, marking UN International Women’s Day with the theme “For All Women and Girls: Rights, Equality, & Empowerment.” This seminar reaffirmed ICERT’s commitment to driving research, advocacy, and global partnerships for the welfare of women, girls, and the wider community. The seminar served as a global platform to deliberate on strategies for advancing gender equality, empowering women and girls, and advocating inclusive policies to ensure sustainable social change.
With participation from 573 attendees across more than 20 countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, South Africa, and others, the event reflected ICERT’s commitment to fostering global dialogue and action for societal welfare.
Objectives of the Seminar
- To create awareness about the UN’s global agenda for gender equality and empowerment.
- To provide a platform for academicians, practitioners, and policymakers to share research, experiences, and actionable strategies.
- To promote networking and collaborations for advancing women’s rights and social equity globally.
- To advocate evidence-based policy recommendations for governments, institutions, and civil society organizations.

Global Youth Icon Awards 2025 were conferred to prominent dignitaries for their outstanding contributions to women’s empowerment and community welfare.
