The ICERT UN Youth Symposium 2026 brought together students, young professionals, educators, and social leaders from multiple countries to engage in high-impact dialogue aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Conducted as a free, inclusive, and open platform, the symposium empowered youth voices on education reform, climate responsibility, gender equity, ethical leadership, and global citizenship.

Bridging Continents and Disciplines for Youth Empowerment on National Youth Day January 12, 2025

The International Council for Education Research and Training (ICERT), in collaboration with Teachers’ Training College, Bhagalpur, successfully concluded its International Multidisciplinary Conference on January 12, 2025. Timed to honor National Youth Day in India, the event transformed academic dialogue into a blueprint for action under the theme: “Multidisciplinary Approaches to SDGs and Youth Empowerment for Sustainable Development.”

Key Outcomes & Impact:

Global South Solidarity: With 373 registered participants primarily from India and Nigeria, and extended reach into Ethiopia, the UAE, and Malaysia, the conference established a robust academic bridge between South Asia and West Africa.

Actionable Research: Four concurrent technical sessions delivered deep insights into:

Vocational Empowerment: Modernizing VET and “Z to A” pedagogies.

AI & Social Equity: Integrating technology for inclusion and mental health.

Environmental Psychology: Linking renewable energy engagement with sustainable tourism.

Inclusive Education: Diagnosing classroom needs and enhancing quality culture in HR.

Honoring Excellence: In alignment with NEP 2020’s vision, the conference declared the “Indian Youth Icon Award 2025,” felicitating 17 dignitaries for their contributions to decolonized knowledge and youth-led innovation.

Scholarly Contribution: The release of the official Conference Proceedings Book (Souvenir) ensures that the multidisciplinary research shared will continue to influence policy and practice.
