Abstract
Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was popularly known as
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He was born on April 14, 1891 in Mhow village in Madhya Pradesh. Ambedkar was a leader, jurist, social reformer, political thinker and Politician. He is also known as the, “Father of Indian Constitution.” Throughout his life, he fought for the rights of the Dalits and other socially backward classes. New challenges and opportunities have emerged for India in the 21st century. The political and economic equality among citizens is present, but it is not equally distributed in social or economic areas. Successful democracy is not a socioeconomic tool provided by the Indian constitution, which must be executed properly by various government forms to create welfare state. The welfare state is necessary for the genuine attainment of Atamnirbhar Bharat. Dr. B R. Ambedkar’s socioeconomic perspective suggests that the government will provide a free education and health facility for all individuals, which is beneficial as he believes it will make India renowned as an exceptional human resource. India’s democracy is undoubtedly the largest in the world. A more efficient democratic system requires the appropriate utilization of resources to benefit the common people. Every citizen is entitled to receive access education and healthcare facilities, which in turn help provide effective services for the nation. Atamnirbhar Bharat, a new government initiative, promotes local talent and generates new employment opportunities for people. The National Education Policy 2020 will help India to become a Vishwaguru by creating ogivable bases for an Atamnirbhar Bharat. The objective of the Atamnirbhar Bharat is to make India self-reliant by strengthening the economic system of the country and to give a new direction to the Development journey of the country.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was not only the father of Indian constitution, he was a great political leader, philosopher, political thinker, writer, social reformer and economist. His ideas and thoughts are very relevant in stable government and development of the nation. Today our nation is so engrossed with castism, communalism, separatism, poverty, corruption and unemployment that every stream of development has been hundred. Not only this but its wide impact lies on the thinking of citizens that the anti-national forces are becoming more active than loyal forces, therefore there is a great danger for unit and indivisibility of the nation, equality, liberty, sovereignty, stability, economy and atamnirbharta, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar has deep faith in man and his power. Man is the centre of economy and nation building. He advocated state socialism in the field of Industry and also ownership in agriculture with a collectivized method of civilization. He writer the plan has two special features, “One is that, it proposes state socialism in important fields of economic life. The second is that it does not leave establishment of State socialism by the will of legislature. It establishes state socialism by law of the constitution and thus makes it unalterable by any act of the legislature and executive.” The main objective of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar was to remove all kinds of social, economic and political inequalities. His main concept of social, political and economic development includes unity, equality, justice and social justice. He maintains that without socio-economic democracy, neither political democracy nor national unity can be established. The main focus of Atamnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan is to promote local manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports in various sectors, including defenses, technology and agriculture. It aims to create a self-sufficient India that is strong and economically stable.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Professor is serving in Department of Political Science, Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt. He has published more than 40 articles in National and International Journals. He has 06 books in his credit, and 14 book chapter published. With his expertise and extensive experience, he has delivered 12 invited lectures, presented 82 research papers in National and International Conferences/ seminars. He has attended 15 FDPs/ workshops and received 56 appreciation letters for his novel work in education and social sector. He has been awarded with 15 prestigious National and International Awards. He has chaired 10 technical sessions, editorial member in 03 International Journals, organized 08 National and International Conferences.
