ICERT–Humanitas

ICERT is an institute of learning and training with unerring focus on serving the society globally in different domains. ICERT bylaws establish our major structure to ensure smooth and democratic operations aligned with IRS 501(c)(3) Charitable Purposes. 

Different ICERT divisions work in tandem to empower the community in education, research, training on skills, and promoting advancement in different community welfare domains. ICERT Division are working for Social Welfare, especially in women empowerment, empowering youth on skills & competencies for sustainable future, promoting education, training youth and women, collaborating with industries, government departments, education institutes and various other organization to bring positive change in society. 

Derived from the Latin word “Humanitas,” signifying humanity, compassion, and civic virtue, this division embodies ICERT’s unwavering commitment to public good, social inclusion, and equity-driven development. ICERT–Humanitas has evolved to reflect a broader and more progressive mission aligned with IRS-recognized Charitable purposes, particularly in the areas of public benefit and the relief of the poor and distressed. 

ICERT–Humanitas is at the heart of ICERT’s mission to empower individuals and uplift communities through socially responsive initiatives. The division designs and implements community programs that address systemic inequalities and promote social well-being. Its work includes but is not limited to: community outreach, livelihood support, access to basic education and healthcare, emergency relief, and programs that serve marginalized populations including women, children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.

The division’s mission is to create a just, inclusive, and compassionate society through evidence-based, community-centric programs that foster resilience and dignity. Operating through partnerships with local, national, and international stakeholders, ICERT–Humanitas ensures that development efforts are participatory, need-based, and culturally sensitive. Whether through grassroots engagement or high-level advocacy, the division serves as a catalyst for meaningful and measurable social change.

Team ICERT affirms and supports the UN’s SDG, recognizing their momentum and the opportunities they create to foster social, economic and ecological transformational change globally. ICERT takes sustainability as pattern, practices and policies that establish long term solutions for nurturing the wellbeing of entire ecosystem including current and future generations. For sustainability, mere awareness is insufficient and the human being must be empowered to act as agent for change. We recognize, address, assert, invite, advocate, integrate, and support the communities for the implications of the policies for achieving SDGs.
