Smart Horizons 2026: International Conference on Human-Centered AI, Business Agility, and Educational Innovation

We are thrilled to share the highlights from the Smart Horizons 2026 International Conference on Business Agility and Educational Innovation hosted by ICERT in collaboration with the Federal University of Kashere, Nigeria — August 1–2, 2026.

Over 560+ registrations, scholars, educators, and innovators from the United States, India, Nigeria, Malaysia, Philippines, Ghana, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Cameroon, Hungary, Syria, and Zambia gathered under one powerful theme: “Navigating the Smart Frontiers: Synergizing Artificial Intelligence, Business Agility, and Media Ethics.”

Key Highlights:

Presidential Keynote by Prof. Dr. M. Amr Sadik, and Dr. Manisha D. Bhagoji, and moderated by Dr Parnit Tomar and Dr Ibrahim Dahiru Idriss.

Dr. Janet K. Allen and Dr. Farukh Mistry from the University of Oklahoma challenged us to rethink our relationship with AI — not as a shortcut, but as a conversational partner for deeper learning. Their framework of Five Non-Technical Career-Sustaining Competencies reminded us that the most future-proof skill is knowing how to question, verify, interpret, reflect, and decide, and Dr. Suresh Aluvihara, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka delivered keynote address on day 2.

Roundtable Panels:

Day 1 moderated by Deion Jose Tulcidas, our panels tackled the hard questions around AI governance, data privacy, human oversight, and accountability in educational institutions and on day 2, moderated by Dr. Kaushal Chauhan, the panel on “The Shared Footprint: Balancing Resource Consumption with Workforce Equity” brought together distinguished voices, the Key voices included:

Research That Matters:

3 technical tracks were brilliantly coordinated by Dr. Adamu Abubakar Muhammad, and Dr Chetna Gupta, with the Chair Dr. Shipra Dua Piplani, and Dr Manisha, showcased 60+ cutting-edge research presentations in all sessions spanning AI-enabled educational frameworks, digital storytelling, data protection, and innovative pedagogical approaches — a true testament to the global research community’s commitment to driving meaningful change. From AI ethics and cognitive offloading to feminist bioethics, digital existentialism, and sports psychology — our presenters brought bold, interdisciplinary research to the global stage.
