Feb 15, 2025: Uniting Continents for Interdisciplinary Science on the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Approaches to Bridge Sciences, Engineering, and Humanities

International Council for Education, Research and Training (ICERT), in collaboration with the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, successfully convened a landmark International Multidisciplinary Conference on February 15, 2025. Celebrating the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the event created a dynamic hybrid platform to bridge the gap between Sciences, Engineering, and the Humanities.

Key Outcomes & Impact:

  • Global Research Footprint: The conference united 306 registered participants from across the globe, strengthening academic corridors between India, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Indonesia. This diverse participation ensured a rich exchange of global perspectives on local challenges.

  • 62 Scholarly Presentations: Four concurrent technical tracks facilitated deep dives into critical areas, including:

    • AI & Digital Transformation: Evaluating AI tools in Nigerian curricula and ethical implications in literature.

    • Environmental Resilience: Mathematical modeling for groundwater and tree planting for disaster risk reduction.

    • Gender & Social Inclusion: Workplace inclusion strategies and rural socio-economic development.

    • Health & Science: Mutation impacts, child nutrition, and renewable energy (Smart Grids).

  • Honoring Excellence: In alignment with the conference’s mission to foster innovation, 11 distinguished individuals were presented with the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Excellence Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions to research and social impact.

  • Interdisciplinary Dialogue: Guided by esteemed dignitaries including Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee (VC, UEM Jaipur), Keynote Speaker Prof. (Dr.) M. Amr Sadik (IPE Management School, Paris), and Dr. Manisha D. Bhagoji (Executive Director, ICERT, USA), the conference successfully bridged the gap between technical sciences and humanistic inquiry.
