On July 15, 2024, the International Council for Education, Research and Training (ICERT) organized a high-level international seminar to commemorate the UN/UNESCO-UNEVOC World Youth Skills Day. The seminar addressed the timely theme: “Building an Equitable and Inclusive Future of Work: Youth Skills for Peace and Development.”

✅ 1,225 Global Minds: A massive gathering of students, educators, and professionals united to bridge the gap between current education and the “future of work”.
✅ 23 Countries Represented: Participants joined from Egypt, India, USA, UK, Nigeria, Philippines, Malaysia, Ethiopia, Romania, Kosovo, Somalia, British Indian Ocean Territory, Sri Lanka, Canada, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Eswatini, UAE, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and Lebanon.
✅ Youth Empowerment Awards: The prestigious Youth Empowerment Award 2024 was conferred upon exceptional changemakers dedicated to skill development and community service.
✅ Global Leadership: Insights from distinguished keynote speakers including:
Dr. A. Arwad Abdel-Daem (President & CEO, Educators Learning Solutions, UK).
Dr. Savita Sharma (Chairperson, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, India).
Dr. Bhavna Wal (Assistant Professor, Amity University Lucknow, India).
The mission was clear: empower the global youth with the skills necessary for an equitable, inclusive, and peaceful future—and we delivered.
